Free browser tools

NovaMath provides an online formula editor and interactive math visualizations for learning and teaching.

Use responsibly

Do not abuse the service, attempt to disrupt it, or use it for unlawful purposes.

Privacy companion

How we handle information is described in our Privacy Policy.

1. Acceptance

By accessing or using NovaMath (the “Service”), including the website, formula editor, visualization tools, and related pages, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. The service

NovaMath is an educational product that offers browser-based math tools — notably a WYSIWYG formula editor with LaTeX support and interactive visualizations for graphs, geometry, and related topics. Features may change as we improve the product. We may add, modify, or discontinue parts of the Service with reasonable notice when practical.

For how-to documentation, see the User Guide.

3. Accounts & access

Core tools are designed to work in a modern web browser without requiring a paid subscription. Some features (for example favorites or signed-in experiences) may appear in the product before they are fully available; availability is not guaranteed until we say otherwise.

You are responsible for using a compatible browser and for keeping any credentials you later create secure.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for unlawful, harmful, or abusive purposes
  • Probe, scan, or attack our infrastructure, or attempt to bypass security or rate limits
  • Interfere with other users’ access, scrape the Service in a way that degrades availability, or reverse-engineer non-public systems beyond what applicable law allows
  • Misrepresent affiliation with NovaMath or use our marks in a misleading way

5. Your content

Formulas, notes, and exploration state you create in the browser remain yours. Unless you choose to export, share, or send content to us (for example via feedback email), editing and visualization work is processed locally as described in the Privacy Policy.

If you send feedback, suggestions, or other materials to us, you grant NovaMath a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use them to operate and improve the product. You confirm you have the rights to share what you send.

6. Intellectual property

The NovaMath name, branding, site design, software, documentation, and courseware catalog structure are owned by NovaMath or its licensors. Third-party libraries remain subject to their own licenses. You may use the Service for personal learning, teaching, and related educational work; you may not copy the product wholesale or claim ownership of our software or brand.

7. Disclaimer

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” Math tools can contain mistakes; always verify critical results independently. We do not warrant uninterrupted availability, error-free output, or fitness for a particular examination, accreditation, or professional purpose.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, NovaMath and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, grades, teaching outcomes, or profits arising from your use of the Service. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the greater of (a) amounts you paid us for the Service in the twelve months before the claim (if any) or (b) USD 50.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms as the product evolves. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will change when we do. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms. Material changes may also be noted on the site or via other reasonable channels.

10. Contact

Questions about these Terms: liuhengloveyou@gmail.com, or use our Contact page. For privacy matters, see the Privacy Policy.
