About Us

NovaMath is a toolkit for learning and teaching mathematics. We turn “write formulas” and “understand concepts” into clear modules you can open in the browser for class, homework, and self-study.

Our mission

Write math. Understand concepts.

Make mathematical expression and conceptual understanding easier — whether or not you know LaTeX, and whether you are at the podium or the desk.

How we work

Inspired by what strong math-learning products share, these principles guide what we build — and what we leave out.

  1. Intuition before symbols

Visualization builds mental pictures; the formula editor makes expressions precise. They complement definitions and proofs — they don’t replace them.

  2. Mathematics is visual

Equations matter, but many relationships are clearer as graphs you can drag and compare. We prioritize hands-on exploration over static screenshots.

  3. Lower the floor, keep the ceiling

Templates and WYSIWYG lower the barrier; two-way LaTeX sync keeps a path into papers, notes, and item banks — two inputs, one expression.

  4. Clear modules, real scenarios

Each entrance does one job. We design for lectures, lesson prep, homework reports, and self-study — not feature sprawl.

What we’re building

Two core modules today. Future learning capabilities will join through the same kind of clear entrance.

  • Online math formula editor

Write equations visually with templates and a grade-level library. Live LaTeX sync — copy into homework, notes, and papers.

    • WYSIWYG equation editor
    • Formula templates
    • LaTeX sync & export
    Open formula editor
  • Interactive math visualization

Explore function graphs, geometry, and algebra interactively — drag parameters and watch concepts become tangible.

    • Function & geometry visuals
    • Interactive exploration
    • For class & self-study

Who it’s for

One toolkit for different roles in teaching, assignments, and self-study.

  • Teachers

Prep handouts, project live demos, and maintain formula banks — drag parameters to teach “what if…”.

  • Students

Write homework and reports cleanly; rebuild intuition with visuals, then write the general form.

  • Self-learners & educators

Browse by level for templates and explorations, and connect writing with understanding at your own pace.

What we stand for

When we make product trade-offs, these values come first.

  • Clear modules

Each entrance has one job: write formulas or explore visually.

  • Learning first

Features serve understanding and expression — not spectacle.

  • Simple & focused

A restrained UI you can open in the browser and stay on the math.

  • Sustainable growth

New capabilities join as clear modules, not a cluttered toolbox.
