Some people click templates. Others type \frac. Both are fine—the annoying part is a tool that forces one style.
In the NovaMath editor, canvas and LaTeX bar share one expression. Edit either side; the other keeps up.
If commands aren’t fluent yet
Insert fractions, roots, matrices from the toolbar. Change the numbers in place. When you need to take it elsewhere, copy from the LaTeX bar. Commands show up as a side effect, not homework before you start.
If you already write LaTeX
Paste a fragment into the LaTeX bar and check brackets, indices, and matrix columns on the canvas. Click into a piece to fix it—often faster than retyping the block. Useful when a paper or handout already has a pile of old code.
