Overview
Find axis intercepts and the triangle they form with the origin.
Explanation
x = 0 gives (0, b); y = 0 gives (−b/k, 0) when k ≠ 0.
Area of the triangle with the origin is S = ½ |x-intercept × y-intercept| = |b²/(2k)|.
If an intercept is 0, the line through the origin encloses zero area.
How to use
Vary k and b; watch intercepts and the orange triangle area.
